Sweet and Crunchy Angel Wings

Sweet and Crunchy Angel Wings

Angel wings are an easy-to-make treat that’s perfect for parties or Fat Thursday. The method of making them is easy and quick!

Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour (3 cups)
  • Egg yolks (4 pieces)
  • Sour cream (200 g)
  • Spirytus (2 tablespoons)
  • Iodized table salt (a pinch)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • Oil (for frying)

Preparation

  1. On a clean surface, sift the flour, add egg yolks, sour cream, spirytus, and a pinch of salt. Knead everything thoroughly. If the dough sticks to your hands, dust it with a little flour. Roll out the dough several times with a rolling pin, fold it in half, and knead again. Let the dough rest for 10-15 minutes.
  2. After this time, roll out the dough thinly and cut it into strips about 2 centimeters wide.
  3. Make a slit in the middle of each strip and thread one end through it.
  4. Fry in hot oil and drain excess fat on paper towels. Once cooled, generously sprinkle with powdered sugar.
