A completely natural, sweet, and vegan snack. It’s perfect for picnics or parties.
Ingredients
- Blanched almonds – 20 g
- Dark chocolate >70% cocoa – 100 g
- Dried dates – 10 pieces
- Tahini sesame paste – 2 tablespoons
Preparation
Step 1: Stuffing the Dates Carefully slit each date and remove the pit. Place a bit of tahini paste in place of the pit and insert an almond. Place the prepared dates in the freezer for about 15 minutes.
Step 2: Decorating the Dates Break the chocolate into smaller pieces and melt it in a water bath. Dip the chilled dates in the chocolate and transfer them to parchment paper. Serve the sweet snacks once the chocolate has hardened.
Tip! If you want the finished stuffed dates to look even more beautiful, you can decorate them with chopped nuts, freeze-dried fruits, or orange zest. However, make sure to do this before the chocolate completely cools.
