Ingredients
- Blanched almonds – 20 g
- Dark chocolate (>70% cocoa) – 100 g
- Dried dates – 10 pieces
- Tahini sesame paste – 2 tablespoons
Preparation
Step 1: Stuff the Dates Carefully slit each date and remove the pit. Fill each date with a small amount of tahini paste and insert an almond. Place the prepared dates in the freezer for about 15 minutes.
Step 2: Decorate the Dates Break the chocolate into smaller pieces and melt it in a double boiler. Dip the chilled dates in the melted chocolate and transfer them to baking paper. Serve the sweet treats once the chocolate has solidified.
Tip! If you want the finished stuffed dates to look even more beautiful, you can decorate them with chopped nuts, freeze-dried fruits, or orange zest. However, make sure to do this before the chocolate completely cools down.
