Strawberry Ice Cream

Strawberry Ice Cream

Simple strawberry ice cream, reminiscent of what you might find in any ice cream parlor. However, its taste will be much better.

Ingredients

  • Strawberries, 200 g
  • Milk, 150 ml
  • Heavy cream (30%), 150 ml
  • Sugar, 1/2 cup

Preparation

  1. Clean, wash, and dry the strawberries. Remove the stems and cut them into smaller pieces. Place the strawberries and sugar in a saucepan and simmer for a while until the sugar melts and the strawberries release their juices.
  2. Blend the strawberries until smooth, adding a little milk to facilitate blending.
  3. Pour the blended mixture through a sieve to remove any solids.
  4. Add the heated milk and mix well.
  5. Then add the heavy cream and stir until well combined.
  6. Pour the cold strawberry mixture into an ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Alternatively, pour it into a container and freeze for at least 4 hours, remembering to occasionally stir the ice cream mixture.
