Simple strawberry ice cream, reminiscent of what you might find in any ice cream parlor. However, its taste will be much better.
Ingredients
- Strawberries, 200 g
- Milk, 150 ml
- Heavy cream (30%), 150 ml
- Sugar, 1/2 cup
Preparation
- Clean, wash, and dry the strawberries. Remove the stems and cut them into smaller pieces. Place the strawberries and sugar in a saucepan and simmer for a while until the sugar melts and the strawberries release their juices.
- Blend the strawberries until smooth, adding a little milk to facilitate blending.
- Pour the blended mixture through a sieve to remove any solids.
- Add the heated milk and mix well.
- Then add the heavy cream and stir until well combined.
- Pour the cold strawberry mixture into an ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Alternatively, pour it into a container and freeze for at least 4 hours, remembering to occasionally stir the ice cream mixture.
