Ingredients
Dough:
- All-purpose flour: 400 grams
- Powdered sugar: 1 cup
- Vanilla sugar: 1 piece
- Margarine: 250 grams
- Lard: 1 tablespoon
- Boiled egg yolks: 5
- Baking powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Filling:
- Margarine: 120 grams
- Powdered sugar: 1/2 cup
- Cream: 1 tablespoon
- Orange extract: 1 teaspoon
Additional:
- Icing for drizzling over cookies
- Colorful candy sprinkles
Preparation
- Boil the eggs, let them cool, then halve them and use only the yolks. Prepare the dough: sift the flour and powdered sugar onto the work surface, add margarine, lard, vanilla sugar, baking powder, and rub the egg yolks through a fine sieve. Knead everything together. Use a star-shaped cookie cutter to cut out cookies, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and bake for about 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
- For the filling: cream the margarine with powdered sugar, add cream and orange extract, and continue to beat for a while. Spread the filling on one cookie.
- Place another cookie on top to make a sandwich.
- Drizzle the cookies with icing and sprinkle with colorful candy sprinkles.
