Combining the nostalgic flavours of classic s’mores with the gooey, crunchy goodness of Rice Krispie treats, this dessert is sure to be a hit at any gathering. Imagine the harmonious blend of toasted marshmallows, rich milk chocolate and crunchy graham cereal, all moulded into easy-to-eat bars that are perfect for sharing.
Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons butter, plus extra for the pan
- 1 (12oz) packet mini marshmallows
- 7c Golden Grahams cereal
- 3 Hershey’s Milk Chocolate bars, broken into pieces
Method:
Lightly butter a 9×13-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper for easy release.
Melt the 3 tablespoons of butter in a large saucepan over medium-low heat.
Add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth.
Remove from the heat and quickly stir in the Golden Grahams cereal. Stir until the cereal is well coated with the marshmallow mixture.
Gently fold in the crushed Hershey’s Milk Chocolate bars. The chocolate will begin to melt slightly from the heat of the marshmallow mixture.
Using a buttered spatula or clean, lightly buttered hands, press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking tray.
Allow to cool completely at room temperature for 1-2 hours or until firm enough to cut.
Once set, cut the S’mores Krispie Treats into squares or rectangles.
