Prune and Chocolate Smoothie

Dried fruits are known for their intense aroma. Remember that they are a great natural substitute for sugar! They work perfectly in sweet baked goods, homemade chocolates, smoothies, or oatmeals.

Ingredients:

  • 4 dried prunes
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 teaspoon almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup coconut milk
  • cinnamon

Preparation:

  1. Pour boiling water over the dried prunes and let them sit for about 15 minutes. Drain the prunes afterwards.
  2. Blend the drained prunes with all the remaining ingredients and a splash of water until smooth.
