Pimm’s Cup is a quintessentially British cocktail, renowned for its refreshing and citrusy profile, perfect for warm summer days or casual gatherings. This cocktail features Pimm’s No. 1, a gin-based liqueur with hints of spices and herbs, blended harmoniously with fresh fruit and ginger ale.
Ingredients:
- 1 Persian cucumber, sliced
- 1 strawberry, sliced
- 2 thin slices of lemon
- 1 thin slice of orange
- Ice
- 2 ounces Pimm’s No. 1
- 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
- Ginger Ale
- Mint sprig, to garnish
Method:
Slice the Persian cucumber, strawberry, lemon and orange according to instructions.
In a tall glass (typically a highball or Collins glass), add a handful of ice cubes.
Add some of the sliced cucumber, strawberry, lemon and orange into the glass.
Pour 2 ounces of Pimm’s No. 1 over the ice and fruit in the glass.
Add 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice.
Top with ginger ale and stir gently to combine.
Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint.
Optionally add a straw for easy sipping.
