Delicious orange ice cream encased in crispy chocolate.
Ingredients
- Powdered sugar – 5 tablespoons
- Cream (30%) – 300 ml
- Orange – 2 pieces
- Dark chocolate – 200 grams
Preparation
Mix the cream with orange juice and powdered sugar (adjust sugar to taste). Chill the mixture, then transfer it to an ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
Chop the chocolate, melt 2/3 of it in a bowl, and heat it to a maximum of 49°C. Then add the remaining chocolate and stir until melted. Chill the chocolate to 27°C, then heat it to 32°C. Use this chocolate to generously coat ice cream molds (2 layers).
Fill the molds with the ice cream, freeze them, and coat them with the remaining chocolate.
