Oat Truffles with Gingerbread Spice and Whiskey

Oat truffles with gingerbread spice and whiskey. They are delicious. They make a great holiday gift.

Ingredients

  • Oats: 100 grams
  • Raisins: 50 grams
  • Dried cranberries: 50 grams
  • Dried dates: 50 grams
  • Cocoa powder: 1 tablespoon
  • Whiskey: 1 tablespoon
  • Gingerbread spice for cakes and desserts (Prymat brand): 0.5 teaspoon
  • Ground walnuts: 2 tablespoons

Preparation

Soak raisins, cranberries, and dates in lukewarm water and set aside for 15 minutes. After this time, drain them (keep a little water from soaking).

Put drained fruits, cocoa, spice, oats, and whiskey into a food processor (or blender) and blend everything.

If the mixture is not sticky, add a little water from soaking the fruits. Shape the mixture into walnut-sized balls and roll them in ground walnuts.
