This vibrant and festive cocktail is a delightful blend that combines the tang of cranberries with the zing of lime, all smoothed by the warmth of tequila and triple sec. Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup whole cranberries
- 1 lime wedge, for the rim
- 2 cups cranberry juice
- 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon lime juice, divided
- 12 oz Silver Tequila
- 8 oz triple sec
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar, divided
- 2 tablespoons kosher salt
- 12 cups ice
- Mint, to garnish
Method:
In a small bowl, combine the kosher salt and 1 tablespoon of the granulated sugar. Mix well.
Use the lime wedge to moisten the rim of each glass, then dip the rims into the salt-sugar mixture to coat.
In a blender, combine cranberry juice, 1/2 cup lime juice, tequila, triple sec, remaining granulated sugar and ice. Blend until smooth.
Pour the margarita mixture into prepared glasses.
Garnish each glass with a few whole cranberries and a mint twig.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
