Try the famous pancakes in mini version, served as skewers with strawberries.
Ingredients
- Egg: 1 piece
- Sugar: 25 g
- Vanilla sugar: 16 g
- Wheat flour: 75 g
- Milk: 90 ml
- Kiwi: 120 g
- Oil: 2 tablespoons
- Canola oil: 1 teaspoon
- Baking powder: a pinch
- Salt: a pinch
- Maple syrup: 6 teaspoons
- Strawberries: 150 g
Preparation
In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and vanilla sugar. In a separate bowl, beat eggs, milk, and canola oil. Combine with dry ingredients and mix until smooth. Let the batter rest for 15 minutes.
Clean and cut strawberries into halves or quarters, peel kiwi and cut into pieces.
Heat a little oil in a pan, gently mix the batter, and spoon it onto the pan using a small teaspoon. Fry the pancakes on each side for about 1 minute and transfer them to a paper towel to remove excess oil.
Thread a piece of strawberry, kiwi, and three pancakes onto skewers. Before serving, drizzle with maple syrup.
