Homemade Mixed Nut Ice Cream

Homemade mixed nut ice cream is very simple to make! You can also use your favorite nuts – raisins, walnuts, or almonds in any proportions you like.

Ingredients

  • Eggs – 4 pieces
  • Heavy cream (30%) – 600 ml
  • Nuts – 1 cup
  • Raisins – 1/2 cup
  • Shelled sunflower seeds – 2 tablespoons
  • Almonds – 2 tablespoons
  • Sugar – 1 cup

Preparation

  1. Beat the eggs with sugar until pale and fluffy.
  2. Whip the cream separately until stiff peaks form.
  3. Crush the nuts into smaller pieces using a mortar and pestle. Chop the raisins into smaller chunks. If using whole almonds, crush them as well.
  4. Mix both masses together, add the nuts and freeze in an airtight container for several hours.
