Homemade mixed nut ice cream is very simple to make! You can also use your favorite nuts – raisins, walnuts, or almonds in any proportions you like.
Ingredients
- Eggs – 4 pieces
- Heavy cream (30%) – 600 ml
- Nuts – 1 cup
- Raisins – 1/2 cup
- Shelled sunflower seeds – 2 tablespoons
- Almonds – 2 tablespoons
- Sugar – 1 cup
Preparation
- Beat the eggs with sugar until pale and fluffy.
- Whip the cream separately until stiff peaks form.
- Crush the nuts into smaller pieces using a mortar and pestle. Chop the raisins into smaller chunks. If using whole almonds, crush them as well.
- Mix both masses together, add the nuts and freeze in an airtight container for several hours.
