Frosted Mistletoe Margarita Punch

A winter wonderland in a glass, this concoction combines the tang of cranberries with the zest of fresh lime and the warmth of silver tequila. Decorated with sugared cranberries and a hint of rosemary, it’s not just a punch, but a centrepiece that celebrates the magic of winter gatherings.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/4-1/2 cup honey (to taste)
  • 2 cups unsweetened cranberry juice
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 1/2 cups silver tequila
  • 3/4 cup Cointreau (orange liqueur)
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 3-4 cups ice
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Rosemary and sugared cranberries, to garnish (optional)

Method:

In a large pitcher, combine the cranberry juice, lime juice, tequila and Cointreau.

Stir in the honey until well combined. Adjust the sweetness to taste.

In a shallow bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and kosher salt. Moisten the rims of the serving glasses and dip them into the sugar and salt mixture to coat.

Fill the glasses with ice and pour the Margarita Punch over the ice.

Garnish with orange peel, fresh cranberries, a sprig of rosemary and sugared cranberries if desired.
