Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup candy floss syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- Food colouring (optional)
Method:
Combine ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the candy floss syrup, vanilla extract, heavy whipping cream, whole milk and granulated sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Add colour: If you’re using food colouring, add a few drops to achieve the desired colour. Mix well to distribute the colour evenly.
Chill: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until thoroughly chilled.
Churn: Pour the cooled mixture into an ice-cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Freeze: Transfer the churned ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
