A simple culinary recipe for delicious coconut ice cream.
Ingredients
- Heavy cream, 330 ml
- Milk, 1 cup
- Coconut flakes, 4 tablespoons
- Sugar, 3 tablespoons
Preparation
- Bring the milk to a boil, then add 3 tablespoons of coconut flakes and sugar. Cook over low heat for about 5 minutes. Allow to cool.
- Whip the chilled heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then mix it thoroughly with the milk mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a tightly sealed container and place it in the freezer for several hours. Remember to stir with a fork every hour to prevent ice crystals from forming.
- Toast the remaining coconut flakes in a dry pan until golden brown, then let them cool. Sprinkle the toasted coconut flakes over the finished ice cream before serving.
