A popular recipe for chocolate muffins. How to make a delicious snack that melts in your mouth?
Ingredients
- All-purpose flour (110 g)
- Baking powder (1 teaspoon)
- Cocoa powder (50 g)
- Salt (a pinch)
- Butter (150 g)
- Brown sugar (150 g)
- Heavy cream (80 ml)
- Natural yogurt (80 ml)
- Eggs (2 pieces)
- Chocolate chips (1 1/2 cups)
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Prepare a muffin pan and line it with paper liners or cardboard rings.
Sift the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder into a larger bowl. Mix with salt and diced butter. Rub with your hands until the mixture resembles crumbs. Add sugar and mix with a spoon.
Pour heavy cream and yogurt into another bowl and crack the eggs. Beat until smooth, do not whip. Add a cup of chocolate chips.
Combine both mixtures, gently and briefly stirring with a spoon. Divide it evenly into each paper liner. Sprinkle with chocolate chips or chopped chocolate.
Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 22 – 25 minutes until a “dry toothpick” comes out. Remove the muffins from the pan and place them on a metal rack to cool.
