Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Chocolate Covered Pretzels

These Chocolate Covered Pretzels are a delicious and easy treat that combines the sweet richness of chocolate with the salty crunch of pretzels. Perfect for parties, gifts or a fun snack, they can be decorated with rainbow sprinkles for a festive touch.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil, divided
  • 1 (16 oz.) bag of mini pretzel twists
  • rainbow sprinkles, for decoration (optional)

Method:

Line two baking sheets with parchment or wax paper.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon coconut oil.

Microwave for 30 seconds, stirring between each microwave cycle, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.

In another microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and the remaining 1 tablespoon of coconut oil.

Microwave for 30 seconds, stirring between each microwave cycle, until the white chocolate is completely melted and smooth.

Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each mini pretzel twist into either the semi- sweet chocolate or the white chocolate, making sure it is evenly coated.

Allow any excess chocolate to drip off, then place the coated pretzel on the prepared baking tray.

If using Rainbow Sprinkles, sprinkle them over the dipped pretzels immediately before the chocolate sets.

Allow the pretzels to sit at room temperature until the chocolate is fully set. To speed up the setting process, place the baking trays in the fridge for 15-20 minutes.

Once the chocolate has set, transfer the pretzels to an airtight container for storage or arrange on a serving platter.
