Crispy cocoa cookies with melted chocolate
Ingredients
- 100g dark chocolate
- 100g butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 egg
- 220g (1 and 1/3 cups) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Preparation
Divide the chocolate into small pieces. Cut the butter into pieces and let it soften at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Beat the butter into a light cream with powdered sugar and cocoa (about 5 minutes). Add the egg and continue beating for about 3 minutes. In a separate bowl, mix the flour with baking soda and baking powder. Sift into the creamed mixture and mix.
Divide the dough into about 13 portions. Form patties, place a piece of chocolate in the center of each, and seal the edges of the dough securely. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 13 minutes.
