Chocolate Chip Muffins

Quick and easy to make muffins with chopped chocolate pieces. Moist and fluffy chocolate muffins. Easy recipe!

Ingredients

  • Wheat flour, 2 cups (320 g)
  • Baking powder, 2 teaspoons
  • Baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt, a small pinch
  • Chocolate chips or chopped chocolate, 200 g
  • Eggs, 2
  • Milk, 200 ml
  • Sugar, 1 cup
  • Vanilla sugar, 1 packet
  • Melted butter or vegetable oil, 1/2 cup

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F). Prepare a 12-cup muffin tin and line the cups with paper liners. Sift the flour into a bowl with the baking powder, baking soda, and salt, then mix thoroughly. Add finely chopped chocolate or chocolate chips and mix again.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then add milk, sugar, vanilla sugar, and oil or melted butter. Mix everything together with a whisk. Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients and gently mix with a spoon until just combined (mix until the raw flour disappears).

Spoon the batter into the lined muffin cups and place in the oven. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
