Celebrate with Birthday Cake Freezer Pops where every bite is a party! These easy to make treats combine creamy vanilla, crispy wafers and a burst of sprinkles. Perfect for a birthday party or just a fun day in the sun, they’re a whimsical twist on the classic popsicle.

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup sprinkles, divided
  • 18 disposable plastic or paper cups (3 oz each)
  • 2 cups cold 2% milk
  • 1 packet (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 8-ounce carton of frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 2 cups crushed vanilla wafers (about 60 wafers)
  • 18 wooden popsticks

Method:

In a large bowl, whisk together the milk and pudding mix until well combined. Allow to stand for about 5 minutes to thicken slightly.

Fold the defrosted whipped topping and half the sprinkles into the pudding mixture until just combined.

Place a small amount of the crushed vanilla wafers in the bottom of each cup.

Spoon or spoon the pudding mixture into the cups, filling each about two-thirds of the way.

Sprinkle the remaining crushed vanilla wafers over the pudding mixture, then top with the rest of the sprinkles.

Place a wooden stick in the centre of each cup.

Freeze the pops for at least 5 hours or until firm.

Once frozen, remove the cups from the freezer and enjoy your birthday cake freezer pops!
