Banana-Chocolate Trifle

Prepare a quick dessert with cookies, bananas, and chocolate mousse!

Ingredients

  • Bananas – 2 pieces
  • Powdered sugar – 40 g
  • Egg – 1 piece
  • Amaretto liqueur – 2 tablespoons
  • Heavy cream (30% fat) – 120 g
  • Chocolate cookies (Neo) – 100 g
  • Dark chocolate – 50 g

Preparation

Step 1: Melt the Chocolate Chop the chocolate and melt it in a double boiler. Then let it cool. Crack the egg, beat the egg white until stiff. Whip 90 g of heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

Step 2: Prepare the Chocolate Mousse Beat the egg yolk with sifted powdered sugar until thick and pale for 2-3 minutes. Add the remaining, liquid heavy cream and mix. Gradually add the melted chocolate, stirring, and beat well. Add the whipped cream and beaten egg whites, and mix. Place the mousse in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

Step 3: Assemble the Dessert in Jars Crumble the cookies and divide them into 4 jars. Drizzle with amaretto liqueur. Peel and slice 1 banana into thin slices. Arrange them on top of the cookies and cover with chocolate mousse. Place the jars covered in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

Before serving, peel and slice the second banana. Decorate the trifles with banana slices.
