Baked peaches in tea

A delicious idea for sweet baked peaches infused with the aroma of tea. Perfect as an addition to desserts and ice cream!

Ingredients

  • Peaches, 6
  • Sugar, 2 tablespoons
  • Vanilla sugar, 1 tablespoon
  • Vanilla ice cream, 150 g
  • Green tea, 2 g

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

Peel the peaches, cut them in half, and remove the pits. Place them in a baking dish.

Brew the tea in 1 cup of hot water. Let the infusion steep for 5 minutes to absorb the aroma. After this time, remove the tea bag, add the sugar and vanilla sugar, and stir. Pour the tea over the peaches in the baking dish and place it in the oven for 40 minutes. During baking, periodically baste the tops of the peaches with the tea from the bottom of the dish.

When the peaches soften, take the dish out of the oven and let it cool slightly.

Serving: Serve the warm peaches with vanilla ice cream.
