Ingredients:
Almond Mixture:
- Sugar – 70 g
- Eggs – 2
- Almonds – 30 g
Apples:
- Dried cranberries – 230 g
- Red apples – 3
Preparation:
Almond Mixture: Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Add sugar while continuing to beat. Mix in ground almonds until well combined.
Apples: Start by washing and drying the fruits thoroughly. Then, using a knife, cut off the top of each apple and use a spoon to remove the seeds from its core. Once the seed cavity is hollowed out, gently prick the fruit halfway up its height. This prevents the apple from bursting during baking. Fill the cavity with the almond mixture and cranberries. Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake the apples for 25 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C.
