Experience a twist on a classic with the Apricot Sidecar, a cocktail that combines the rich warmth of Cognac with the zesty brightness of lemon juice. Enhanced by the sweet notes of apricot liqueur, this drink is a harmonious blend of flavours that’s both sophisticated and refreshing.
Ingredients:
- 50ml Cognac (1865 vintage optional)
- 25ml lemon juice
- 12.5 ml Triple Sec
- 12.5 ml apricot liqueur (a good quality peach liqueur would also work well)
Method:
Chill a cocktail glass in the freezer.
In a shaker, mix 50ml Cognac, 25ml lemon juice, 12.5ml triple sec and 12.5ml apricot liqueur.
Fill with ice and shake well until chilled.
Strain into a chilled glass.
Garnish with a slice of apricot or a twist of lemon.
