Ingredients
Rose Sugar
- Sugar – 50 g
- Rose petals – 20 pcs.
Cookies
- Eggs – 2 pcs.
- Butter – 80 g
- Almond flour – 450 g
- Baking soda – 1 teaspoon
- Dried cranberries – 50 g
Decoration
- Rose petals – 20 pcs.
- Flaked almonds – 2 tablespoons
Preparation
Step 1: Prepare the Rose Sugar Grind the rose petals in a mortar, then mix them with sugar. Spread evenly on parchment paper and leave to dry for several hours. Before using, crush the resulting sugar.
Step 2: Knead the Dough Finely chop the cranberries. Mix all the cookie ingredients with rose sugar. Knead the dough, shape it into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Roll out the chilled dough and cut out circles with a diameter of 6 cm.
Step 3: Bake the Cookies Transfer them to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and place in an oven preheated to 180°C. Bake for 20 minutes.
Serve with flaked almonds and fresh rose petals. You can also decorate the cookies with small rosebuds, in which case you should slightly dip them in the dough before baking.
