You can also make pancakes from this popular recipe with a stracciatella twist.
Ingredients
Pancake Batter:
- 130 g all-purpose flour
- 325 ml milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp sugar
- A small pinch of salt
- 30 ml melted butter or oil
Filling:
- 250 g ground cottage cheese (twaróg)
- 4 tbsp thick sour cream (18% fat)
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 3 tbsp powdered sugar
- 30 g grated or chopped chocolate (milk or dark)
Also:
- About 250 g strawberries
- Powdered sugar
- Whipped cream
Preparation:
- Pancake Batter: In a bowl, combine flour, milk, eggs, sugar, and salt. Mix until smooth. Add melted butter or oil and mix again until well combined.
- Filling: Mix cottage cheese with sour cream, vanilla sugar, and powdered sugar. Then mix in the chopped chocolate.
- Heat a pancake pan and cook the pancakes.
- Spread each pancake with the filling and fold into triangles. You can warm them up before serving.
- Top with chopped strawberries and powdered sugar. Serve with whipped cream.
