Ingredients:
- 4 ripe bananas
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1/2 cup milk (any type: cow’s milk, almond milk, coconut milk, etc.)
Preparation:
Bananas: Peel the bananas, cut them into smaller pieces, and place them in the freezer for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Ensure they are completely frozen before proceeding to the next step.
Blending: Remove the frozen bananas from the freezer and place them in a sturdy blender or food processor. Add sugar and vanilla extract. Pour in the milk.
Blend all the ingredients until smooth and uniform. If the mixture is too thick, add a bit more milk gradually to achieve the desired consistency, being careful not to thin out the ice cream too much.
Transfer the mixture into a freezer-safe container. You can use a loaf pan or a container with a lid.
Freezing: Freeze the mixture for a minimum of 2 hours. For the best texture and flavor, stir the ice cream every hour during the first 3 hours of freezing.
Serving: Before serving, take the ice cream out of the freezer for 5-10 minutes to soften slightly and make scooping easier.
