Let’s go on a cookie adventure that will make your taste buds dance! Imagine the warm, buttery aroma filling your kitchen as you mix these chocolate chips into the dough. Think of each slice as a little piece of happiness just waiting to be savoured.
Ingredients:
- 125g butter, chopped
- 155g (3/4 cup, firmly packed) brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 190g (1 1/4 cups) plain flour
- 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 100g (1/2 cup) milk chocolate chips
- 156g packet Cadbury Cookies Choc Centre (yes, we’re doubling up on the chocolate!)
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Line a Lamington tray with baking paper.
Melt the butter (you can do this in the microwave or on the stove). Leave to cool.
When cool, add the brown sugar, vanilla essence and egg. Mix well.
Gradually add the sifted plain flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Mix until you have a smooth dough.
Pour the mixture into the prepared tin.
Sprinkle the milk chocolate chips on top (because more chocolate is always a good idea!).
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden around the edges.
Leave to cool in the tin, then cut into irresistible bars.
