- Buckwheat groats – 90 g
- Poppy seeds – 150 g
- Butter – 1 tablespoon
- Almonds – 80 g
- Honey – 160 g
- Hazelnuts – 80 g
- Walnuts – 80 g
- Raisins – 70 g
- Almond extract – 0.5 teaspoon
- Dried figs – 3 pieces
- Red apple – 3 pieces
Preparation:
Step 1: Cook the Buckwheat Groats Pour boiling water over the buckwheat groats and let them soak for an hour. After that time, rinse them in a sieve and cook in 300 ml of water for 40-50 minutes until soft.
Step 2: Prepare the Poppy Seeds Pour boiling water over the poppy seeds. After 10 minutes, drain them in a sieve lined with cheesecloth. Squeeze out excess water. Transfer the poppy seeds to a bowl and mix with the cooked groats.
Step 3: Complete the Poppy Seed Mixture To the poppy seed mixture, add chopped nuts, raisins, candied orange peel, butter, honey, sliced figs, and almond extract. Mix everything thoroughly.
Step 4: Stuff the Fruits Cut off the top of the apples along with the stems and hollow them out. Cut a small piece from the bottom part of each apple to prevent them from tipping over. Halve the pears and remove the seeds. Stuff the fruits with the mixture. Place them in a baking dish and bake for 50 minutes in an oven preheated to 180°C. After baking, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
