Easter Egg Cookies

Homemade Easter egg cookies are perfect, crispy treats filled with chocolate cream. Prepare delicious snacks for Easter and decorate them with the youngest members of the family!

Ingredients:

  • All-purpose flour – 2 cups
  • Egg yolks – 2
  • Powdered sugar – 1/2 cup
  • Baking powder – 1 level teaspoon
  • Butter – 150 g
  • Chocolate hazelnut cream – 100 g
  • Dark chocolate – 50 g
  • Colored sugar sprinkles – 4 tablespoons

Instructions:

Step 1: Knead the Dough In a bowl, place the flour, baking powder, powdered sugar, and room temperature butter. Knead all the ingredients until a smooth dough forms, and shape it into an even number of small balls.

Step 2: Cut Out the Cookies Roll the dough balls to a thickness of about 0.5 cm and use a cookie cutter (or a small, sharp knife) to cut out egg shapes.

Step 3: Bake the Cookies Transfer the prepared cookies to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake them for about 15-18 minutes in an oven preheated to 180°C. Allow the baked cookies to cool.

Step 4: Assemble and Decorate the Cookies Spread chocolate cream on one side of the cookies and sandwich them together. Then, using a toothpick, draw any patterns on the cookies with melted chocolate and sprinkle them with colored sugar sprinkles.
