Ingredients:
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 oz. dark chocolate (good quality, 60%, about 2/3 cup chips, chunks or finely chopped chocolate)
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup liqueur (clear creme de menthe)
- vanilla ice cream

- mint leaves
Method:
Combine the whole milk and heavy cream in a medium saucepan. Heat over a medium heat until it begins to steam.
Add the dark chocolate, unsweetened cocoa powder and granulated sugar to the saucepan. Stir continuously until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is well combined.
Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the clear crème de menthe liqueur.
Leave to cool slightly. Pour the soup into bowls or dessert plates.
Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzle with your favourite sauce.
Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
