Angel wings are an easy-to-make treat that’s perfect for parties or Fat Thursday. The method of making them is easy and quick!
Ingredients
- All-purpose flour (3 cups)
- Egg yolks (4 pieces)
- Sour cream (200 g)
- Spirytus (2 tablespoons)
- Iodized table salt (a pinch)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
- Oil (for frying)
Preparation
- On a clean surface, sift the flour, add egg yolks, sour cream, spirytus, and a pinch of salt. Knead everything thoroughly. If the dough sticks to your hands, dust it with a little flour. Roll out the dough several times with a rolling pin, fold it in half, and knead again. Let the dough rest for 10-15 minutes.
- After this time, roll out the dough thinly and cut it into strips about 2 centimeters wide.
- Make a slit in the middle of each strip and thread one end through it.
- Fry in hot oil and drain excess fat on paper towels. Once cooled, generously sprinkle with powdered sugar.
