Date muffins are a unique dessert that combines the sweetness of dates with a hint of exotic flavor. Perfect for sweet enthusiasts.
Ingredients
- All-purpose flour 150 g
- Potato starch 100 g
- Baking powder 2 teaspoons
- Salt a pinch
- Sugar 100 g
- Canola oil 80 ml
- Egg 1 piece
- Natural yogurt 250 g
- Dates 100 g
- Candied sugar 50 g
- Cream flavoring oil 1 tablespoon
Preparation
Sift both flours, baking powder, and salt into a bowl. Add chopped dates and mix.
Beat the egg with sugar, oil, yogurt, and cream flavoring oil. Add to the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix (just until combined).
Fill the muffin cups (I usually use silicone ones) with the batter up to 3/4 full. Sprinkle with candied sugar.
Bake for approximately 25 minutes at 170°C.
