Vanilla-Almond Pudding

Pudding is a dessert loved by both kids and adults!

Ingredients

  • White chocolate – 100 g
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Cornstarch – 1.5 tbsp
  • Vanilla – 3 g
  • Almond milk – 500 ml
  • Wheat flour – 1 tbsp

Jam

  • Brown sugar – 2 tbsp
  • Orange – 1 pc.
  • Strawberries – 500 g

Preparation

Step 1: Cooking the Pudding Split the vanilla bean in half lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with the dull side of a knife. Pour 400 ml of milk into a saucepan, add the seeds and bring to a boil with white chocolate. Beat the egg yolks with cornstarch and wheat flour along with 100 ml of milk. Gradually add a little of the boiled milk to the mixture, stirring, then pour the mixture into the saucepan with the remaining milk. Stir vigorously, bringing to a boil.

Step 2: Preparing the Jam Thoroughly scrub the orange. Grate the zest from half of the fruit. Squeeze the juice from the entire orange. Pour the juice into a frying pan, add sugar, strawberries, and grated zest. Cook the jam over medium heat until it thickens. Pour the hot pudding into bowls. Top with the hot jam. Serve hot or cold!
