- White chocolate – 100 g
- Milk chocolate – 200 g
- Pomegranate – 1 pc.
Toasted almonds
- Sugar – 50 g
- Almonds – 100 g
- Water – 50 ml
Preparation
Step 1: Toast the Almonds
Boil water and sugar to make syrup. Add chopped almonds to the hot syrup and mix well. Transfer the almonds onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place in an oven preheated to 180°C and toast until golden brown – about 10-12 minutes.
Step 2: Melt the Chocolate
Melt the milk chocolate. Let it cool while stirring. Repeat the same process with white chocolate.
Step 3: Prepare the Bars
Pour the milk chocolate into the bottom of a rectangular mold or container. Extract the seeds from the pomegranate and sprinkle them over the chocolate. Gently press them down. Pour the white chocolate over the arranged pomegranate seeds and spread evenly. Sprinkle the toasted almonds over the top. Refrigerate until set. Cut the chocolate into rectangular bars.
