Ingredients
- 4 heaping tablespoons rolled oats
- Almond milk/alternative milk – enough to cover the oats
- A handful of raw almonds
- 1 heaping tablespoon toasted almond flakes
Preparation
In the evening, mix the rolled oats with some whole almonds (with skin) and cover them with almond milk so that it’s about 1 cm above the oats’ surface. Soaked almonds in the morning will be soft yet crunchy.
To prevent the oats from absorbing other flavors from the refrigerator, store them in a jar or container with a lid. In the morning, if the oats are too thick, add a bit more almond milk to them. Add the remaining whole almonds (these will provide a satisfying crunch) and sprinkle everything with toasted almond flakes.
