Ingredients
- Whipping cream (30-36% fat) – 400 ml (1 container)
- Milk (2% fat) – 200 ml (3/4 cup)
- Granulated sugar – about 7 tablespoons – 80g
Preparation
The milk and cream should be taken straight from the refrigerator. Pour half of the whipping cream into a saucepan and add the sugar. Heat over low to medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is completely dissolved. Pour this mixture into a container in which you will freeze the ice cream.
To the prepared mixture, add the remaining whipping cream and milk. Mix everything thoroughly. Pour the prepared mixture into the ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer’s instructions. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, proceed with the next steps of the recipe.
Place the container in the freezer for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, remove the creamy mixture from the freezer and blend it. Then continue the freezing process – blend the mixture every 30 minutes until it is completely chilled. This usually takes about 3-4 hours.
Once the creamy mixture has been frozen and blended several times, it’s ready to enjoy after about 3-4 hours.
