Ingredients:
Cupcakes
- Eggs – 1
- Sugar – 125 g
- Chocolate chips – 50 g
- Cocoa – 2 tablespoons
- Butter – 250 g
- Buttermilk – 2 tablespoons
- Wheat flour – 275 g
- Baking powder – 2 tablespoons
Frosting
- Powdered sugar – 125 g
- Butter – 125 g
- Cream cheese – 250 g
For Decoration
- Sugar hearts – 15 g
Preparation:
Step 1: Preheat the Oven Preheat the oven to 180°C. Melt the butter in a saucepan, then let it cool slightly.
Step 2: Prepare the Batter Mix buttermilk, flour, sugar, baking powder, egg, and melted butter until you get a smooth mixture. Add chocolate chips and gently mix. Divide the batter into two parts. Combine one part of the batter with cocoa.
Step 3: Fill the Molds Line cupcake molds with paper liners and fill each of them with both types of batter (in equal proportions), then gently swirl them with a fork.
Step 4: Bake the Cupcakes Place the cupcakes in the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the cupcakes comes out clean. Remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them cool.
Step 5: Prepare the Frosting Meanwhile, prepare the frosting by beating the butter and powdered sugar until white and fluffy, then mix it with the cream cheese.
Step 6: Decorate the Cupcakes Using a pastry bag, decorate the cupcakes with frosting, then sprinkle with sugar hearts.
